Anesthesia For Pets

Our veterinary technicians monitor our patients closely to keep them as safe as possible during procedures that require general anesthesia. Our trained staff of professionals will continually assess your pet’s heart and respiratory rate, blood pressure, and body temperature to prevent any anesthetic risk.

Please feel free to ask us about our patient monitoring protocol or any concerns you might have about your pet’s procedure. We’d be happy to discuss these matters in more detail.

Requirements for pet anesthesia:

  • No food after 8 pm the night before surgery
  • Water is OK
  • If your pet takes medication, you may give them their meds with a small amount of food if needed
  • Arrive on time
